After a challenging first pregnancy I was thrown a further curve ball on my journey meaning a c-section was on the cards...I felt totally unprepared, this type of birth hadn't really been discussed in my antenatal classes other than to say it might be a possibility.

Workshop 2: Hypnobirthing and Relaxation Techniques

In this workshop I will talk you through your hypnobirthing and relaxation toolkit. Try the techniques out and practice them daily to ensure they become second nature. 

Relaxation takes practice and is rarely something we can turn on and off. The more you practice the easier it will become to relax into a calmer birth experience.

Your Caesarean Scar

Post birth it is important to take good care of your new scar to help prevent infection. When your scar is fully healed (minimum of 8 weeks fully healed) you can use massage techniques to start working on the scar tissue and to reconnect your mind-body if you are feeling a little disjointed.
